Today, we hosted our inaugural market connection gathering at @shortcreekhomestead.

Behind the scenes, Mandy, Amy, and I spent last year planning this event to bring people together and celebrate the hardworking individuals who grow, create, bake, and connect farmers.

We wanted to share time before the busy season started. These individuals balance markets, family, full-time jobs, and farms, often without days off, so moments like these allow us to appreciate each other.

We missed some who couldn’t make it, but we’ll be doing more gatherings in the future.
